"Doug is an excellent playwright of great vision. ... Each script has a wit and intelligence, each script shows his full commitment to his vision, his deep compassion for his characters, and the comedy he finds to make the journey that much more enjoyable."

synopsis
Shortly after completing their latest film together, Graham Harris dies in the house he shares with co-star Rosalynne Buchanan. Rosalynne has no choice but to inform Graham’s wife Leslie of his death. What happens when Ross and Leslie meet for the first time is the premise of this play that explores the nature of love, celebrity, gossip, truth, and how to get a dead movie star out of the kitchen.
"The style of the banter, the crispness of the dialogue, the concerns of the characters are so precisely dialed in to 20th century industry culture, it makes this smart noir comedy all the more brilliant. "
